How To Get HD On YouTube Using Sony Vegas Pro 8.0

You can change the resolution for the video from 1280 by 720 to 1920 by 1080 in order to get your videos to show up as 1080p.

In this tutorial I show you guys how to get HD on your videos. As long as you follow the video everything should work fine. Remember your video needs to be 1280 by 720 for the final version that will be uploaded to Youtube or else you won't get the HD link.

how do you change the resolution of individual videos coz im doing an intro but the background video is too wide behind the text - -plz reply!!

@CyberNetTV I think there is an option when you make a new project. It will be a check box that says Adjust source media to better match project or rendering settings. Make sure that is checked and it should auto adjust the videos for you when you drag and drop them into the time bar. (I could be wrong since it's been a year since I've touched it.)
