Danny Slade C., K.C.-based entertainer, with samples of the street side of his overall entertainment. Performances fall of '05 in Country Club Plaza. The Billy Joel tune as done in the adaptation to solo takes mucho concentration, not an easy harmonica riff, period, let alone playing it using a holder and while keeping things going on key boards. The adaptation to solo guitar of Dream On attracted the attention and kudos of Steve Tyler himself at a different performance, who then was talked into joining singing the rest of the song on Danny's microphone, on an occasion when A..Smyth were in town to play Sandstone and some of its members were strolling up the Plaza's street after their concert, 2002-ish. Mr. Tyler stuck around to harmonize on rockin' righteous rendition of What Goes On, before shaking hands and discussing the performing he'd heard while comingup the street before reaching the site of the performance. The performance of Johnny Cash songs and parodies are always crowd pleasers and lend themselves wwell to Danny's style, see "Early Plaza..etcettera" on batsinyourbelfry for excerpt of the "Johnny sings Springstein" partial-spoof-but-with-good-music clip.
