I saw parts of it. It would have been an overtome game if they called it. Maybe the Rangers would sit back and stack their blue line. I think the Caps would have scored in the third anyway and took it to overtime. The problem with hockey now is Gary Bettman. That stuff is commonplace in playoff hockey, but they call all the weakass hooking and slashing penalties. If they just let em play like they did before the lockout, and called the obvious dirty plays the game would be better.

ok. but if you were watching last night, the ref #13 couldeve called about 2 or three more penalties during the game. especially when erskine hit avery into the caps bench when the puck was at the other end of the ice.

since that wasent called. it led to that bullshyt double deflection goal by semin.

it wouldeve been a different game if that penalty was called

The game was fixed sounds like a true homer statement. I'm a Flyers fan. I'm sure we lost cause the Pens paid the refs off in our series too(sarcasm). Maybe your team shouldn't have been out shot the majority of the series. That might of won you that 4th game you needed to move on. Face it, the Rangers choked just like the Devils and my Flyers. Avery is a dirty player and he got what was coming to him. Just like Brashear for his dirty plays.

i'm talking about game two, before avery started retaliating.

and last night if you were watching. there was not one penalty call on the caps for dirty play.

3rd period mike green practically gets avery in a rear naked choke and tosses him to the ground, no call.

and in the 1st period, erskine hits avery into the caps bench behind the play, with no call and a ref staring at it.

and 2nd period, one of the caps players pushed lundqvist about 3 feet into the net. no call.

the game was fixed!!!

Refs normally let more go in the playoffs, regardless of reputation. He two handed a guy to the face and tried to act as if it was an accident. Same thing when he went in behind the net and clubbed the dude in the face with some spinning back fist that would of dazed the best fighter in the UFC. Those calls were no brainers and even Tortorella knew it. The look on his face said so. He played dirty and got caught doing it because it was too obvious.

ohh please. the refs are after avery. some of the penalties against him were good calls but most of em were bull shit calls like in game 4.

the refs now have avery off of his game as you can see from game 6. he had many oppurtunities to finish his checks but he didnt.
