@wblstudios well there wasn't a curse to begin with. they broke the never ending chain of horrible fate in Kai which led to the happy end where everyone lived during the events of 1983. in the last part of the dice killing chapter in Rei it somewhat gives an explanation on Bernkastel's existence.
