  • Hey Cantori. I'm glad you liked the video. The music was from the Anniversary Mass for Bishop Zurek. It was sung by St. Thomas the Apostle Choir. Sorry it wasn't to your liking, but we're trying to keep everything local.

  • Amarillo Catholics should be ashamed of Bishop Zurek, and I am sure they are going to ask for his transfer - maybe down to Rio De Janeiro, the place where he ran away for two weeks to avoid meeting Father Pavone face to face after slandering Priests for Life. Right, he sends for Pavone to leave all his activities in the pro-life movement headquartered at the Long Island offices, and Pavone obediently heads down to Amarillo. To find the Bishop out of the country for two weeks. What a coward!

  • @DnCassidy - Good post! Thanks!

  • Catholics in Amarillo should withhold contributions to the Diocese and their local parishes until the outrageous suspension of Fr Pavone is reversed by the Vatican.

Let's not forget that 2 to 3% of all priests were ever accused of sexual molestation, but the majority of the American bishops were engaged in immoral and criminal coverups. He may need cash for settlements and legal fees, but babies should not be the ones to pay. May the Vatican rid America of the filth in the American episcopacy!

  • Congrats to the bishop. Just one comment though...the music on this video is HORRIBLE. It's like listening to a bad flashback to the 70's. Hopefully, the bishop will lead the diocese in a more of a 'reform of the reform' mindset in keeping with the ideals of our current Holy Father. It's time to throw out the guitars and 'jazzy' sounds of the piano/keyboard.
