Senator Boxer testified at a Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions subcommittee hearing on the need to strengthen child abuse laws in the United States. The Senator introduced two bills -- the State Child Protection Act and the Federal Child Protection Act -- to ensure that abuses against children are reported to local law enforcement or a child protective agency.
Thank you for initiating a long overdue and immensely important act. I wonder who we are as a people if we cannot do a decent job of protecting our children, especially from predators. This is a great start.

Yes BOXER, WE DO NEED A NEW ETHIC....
Why are you nitpicking over little statutes in CHILD ABUSE LAWS, when MASSIVE CORRUPTION and ABSURDITY are running rampant throughout our government.
STOP PIPA.
STOP SOPA.
STOP CUTS ON EDUCATION.
QUIT SPENDING OUR WHOLE BUDGET ON ILLEGAL WARS.
You spend your time winning little badges from issues like child abuse, when the WHOLE DAMN COUNTRY is being abused by our government. Honestly, the average American wants you to fight for the BIGGER ISSUES at hand.
