Your original statement concerned having children. Of course there is inhuman suffering in the world, but the human spirit still survives. Having children, getting married, falling in love is just the human race thumbing it's nose at death, a wonderfully human gesture.

I agree with you daisycutter71. It could be any city of this world just because there are homeless everywhere. A friend of mine just posted in Facebook that this song might change people's mind indeed. I think it's an old beautiful thought provoking song.

yes i live in a small town 300 miles form London. Devon Okehampton and homeless can be found here too its more widespread than people think in the uk
