I agree wholeheartedly, his Youtube versions were much better. I'm not even sure how the studio managed to mess it up so bad. Hell, he's an AMAZING guitar player, no doubt. But this is the first instance I've seen where "studio magic" failed miserably.

I just got the album, and this is NOT the album version. This is the "beta". Many of the songs on the album that've been uploaded to youtube have been modified considerably. And some just plain fail in my opinion. Ride on Sky, both versions on the album, and Overdrive, both versions, Elegantornado (remix incl.) and possibly Thunder Bolt are about the only ones I can stand. Fox is good, but he needs his music back :P

^^ Actually the one where you see him playing is the old one... This is the new one that's released on his debut album. For some reason I think the old one had a more "professional" sound about it.

Ah, I listened to this one a while ago...
I think the original ending is nicer to hear, but the variation he did in this version is nice too!
He asked for peoples opinions about the recording because of problems with the volume of the guitar.

Ah, I wrote "better version", but, maybe people prefer the other one...I personally prefer this one, especially like you said for the ending (and some other things) .
