Questions: If a monkey falls out of a tree when you launch a projectile at it, where do you aim and why?

  • @tom123efc If you drive in a car at a constant velocity, does gravity act on you? yes. dumb ass

  • An object has constant horizontal velocity (assuming no air resistance) but and constant vertical acceleration (gravity)

  • awesome slow-motion! :)

  • but gravity doesnt act when an object moves horizontally because it travels at a constand velocity

  • Hey, it's Emily!

  • its all because gravity is constant whether the object is moving horizontaly or not

  • did this in my A level physics class but more accurately. instead of a big monkey, we used a small metal ballbearing held up with an electromagnet, and a marbel as a dart. when the marbel left the tube (blowgun) it hit a piece of foil which swithed off the electromagnet, so the "monkey" fell at the time the "dart" was shot. at a range of about 2 meters, it hit everytime when aimed directly at the "monkey"
