Why the lack of spider-sting?

@123yo123yo123 Because I get dreadfully afraid that lag will cause my Spider-Sting input to come out as a heavy Web Ball, which, needless to say, destroys the combo.

@KenAdamsNSA Really? lag can turn spider sting into web ball? Dame that sucks. Does that happen to you a lot or is it just a once in a while thing?

@123yo123yo123 It happens enough that I've been conditioned to avoid it, especially because Spider-Man needs to work pretty hard for his combo opportunities.

@123yo123yo123 I like that Doom OTG setup, and the fact that he uses Web Swing L makes his ground game very tricky. Web Glide is a great tool, and I admit that I don't use it nearly enough, but it also requires some masterful knowledge of spacing to use effectively.
