i was in Connecticut on the beach during hurricane bill.
even in the inside harbor the waves were huge

This is a great vid! I grew up in RI but live out of state now....whenever I tell people that during hurricane season I would regularly be surfing double-overhead sets, people have the balls to respond with the bullshit card!

Thanks for the positive comments. As a surfer on the east coast, I will forever vividly remember this morning. Although the commentary is bizarre (i was flipping out!), I think it captures the excitement we all feel when you roll up to the beach and see the swell of the year coming through.

The first wave was Ian Walsh...and the second was Garrett McNamara...and if you don't know who they are and you surf...shame.
