Esmerelda cares not for an angel(Quasimodo) nor a devil(Frolo), all she desires is a man. Thus: Phebous wins.
Btw nice message to the kids Disney -.- Sorry Quasi, you're ugly so you don't get the girl.
=.= Sorry Quasimodo, but your princess is in another castle. nvm my ranting, sorry for the moodkill.

Did anyone notice that both Quasimodo and Frolo sing about Esmerelda, but when Quasimodo sings the song is called, "heaven's light" as opposed to Frolo's "hellfire"?
O_O *mind is blown*

I guess Esmeralda likes guys with "swords" ;D

@Inkblotchy Well, would you rather give the child unrealistic expectations of the world?
The world is pretty harsh, I think that this movie is much more realistic than the other ones are in terms of lessons taught.

@Inkblotchy He gets a love in the second movie :]

@Inkblotchy at least he got to be accepted by all the people he wished he could be part of...and Esmeralda does love him...just like a brother and plus (bleeeugh) would you rather have the sequel or this awesome flick of epicness...just saying...

the sad thing is, after this beautiful ballad of love and heavenly light we get the evil song of lust and hatred and hellfire..... but both were awesome so its a okay!

Great movie but...
Moral of the story children? Ugly people will never get the girl/boy. Maybe a nice friendship, but your love will always go for the super hot significant other. Because, you know... Who wants to be with an ugly person? Forever alone.
Sorry, but that is how I honestly thought at the end of this movie. :(

Quasimodo, the man with ugly faces, yet blessed with beautiful hearts and voice...

I love how Phebous is the only one out of the three main guys who doesn't sing a song about wanting Esmeralda, and yet he's the one who gets her in the end...
