Sandra Gillette Romero performs the uncensored remix of her song You Move Too Fast from her Debut Album On The Attack, produced by the 20 Fingers.
Live from the mexican late night talk show La Tocada, hosted by Veronica Castro.
Sandra Gillette (born September 16, 1970), who goes by her last name, is a former R&B-Dance artist from the 1990s.
She was born in New Jersey to a Puerto Rican mother and Mexican father and grew up in Chicago and Houston, singing and rapping her way through the 1990s. Sandra Gillette graduated from Romeoville High School.
Gillette is best known for her dance hits "Short Dick Man" and "Mr. Personality" from her 1994 album, On the Attack.[1] In 1996, she released her second album, Shake Your Money Maker. To be permitted for airplay, "Short Dick Man" was released titled as "Short Short Man" with the censored title. Her producers, 20 Fingers, were in charge of some of her biggest hits. She was cast in several independent films, and in 2004, she co-founded a Cabaret group called Peekaboo Revue. After a year of performances, the group eventually went their own ways.

Does the name Gillette ring a bell? Well, it should. Back in 94/95 her hit song "Short Dick Man" took the country by storm with its controversial lyrics and undeniable heart-pumping beat. Still not familiar? Better check your CD collection. After going gold in over 10 countries, Gillette is no amateur.

The success of her debut album On The Attack which included her second single, "Mr. Personality" and the club hit "You're a Dog," commanded appearances world wide in places that included the USA, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Venezuela, Chile, Russia, France, Holland, Germany, Austria, Italy and South Africa. That's not including all of the Countries that were requesting tour dates from
Gillette. Because of the phenomenal success of "Short Dick Man", she wasn't able to meet the demands. Gillette says, "This time around I hope to have the endurance to reach EVERYWHERE."

During Gillette's 'short, short' break from the music business, lots of changes occurred. She has a new look, a new label and a new attitude. She states, "I am extremely excited to get back on tour and get reacquainted with my fans; it's been a long time." While on break she became more involved with her first passion, acting. Gillette was cast in several independent films and she was also cast as host and correspondent for a pilot music show in the Chicago area.

With all the new changes in Gillette's life, one thing remains the same, she continues to work with the original writers and producers of her hit singles and first album Charlie "Babie" Rosario and Manny Mohr.

  • I thought this track was on the cassette.

  • @Jinxedbeyondrepair This version? I think its "You move too fast" the one included in the album, and with different music too. This seems to be a remix, which makes me think it might have been considered for a single after Youre a Dog.

  • Oh my god! Never heard that version of this song before!!! Was it on the single CD??? It´s much better than the album version!!! Totally like it!

Now I dance around my living room to this tune like I used to do back in 1994! :-)

  • @GeileSexyZeiten Unfortunately this version was not released but it makes me think this uncensored remix actually exists because the track even has background vocals saying dont cum dont dont cum so fast, so its only logical there is a full vocal remix in extistence. I really wished the 20 Fingers, Gillette or Gillette's family would leak this as a gift for the fans, but given the non existent support we've gotten when asking for Did I say that? I assume this will never happen. :(

  • @emocrem0 thx 4 ur detailed answer! well, let´s don´t give up hope. maybe one day "did i say that?" and this uncensored remix will show up, you never know. right know i´m observing that dance music is slowly getting more popular again in the world, and many former 90´s dance artists try a comeback. maybe gillette shows up too in the near future...that would be soo great!

  • @GeileSexyZeiten Yep surely hope so, she still has a following, and with the right beats and some witty lyrics she can have everyone eating out of her hands..
