  • Jessica -- sooo underrated and ignored!!! What a great hard rock opening song to any album or concert. Some Bloodrock songs just deserve more attention and accolades to be compared to great songs of other more famous hard rock artists of the time. Take the song Kool-Aid Kids, for instance. What a timeless classic awesome hard rock anthem! Somebody put it up on Youtube.

  • There are about 4 YouTube files of Kool-Aid Kids already uploaded.

  • Will someone please upload 'A Certain Kind'? from Bloodrock 3?

  • Stay tuned...it's coming :)

  • Lordy. I have not heard this song in some 37 years. I agree with some of the previous comments. At the time, I thought Bloodrock was sort of a cross between Deep Purple and Grand Funk and maybe even Captain Beyond. And that is not a bad thing.

  • I will say this 'till my dying day...Bloodrock 3 is nothing short of an absolute classic! Up there with "The wall" & "The white album" and etc, etc. My short-lived broadcasting career ended because I always would play "breach of lease" in the wee hours of the morning, ignoring the P.D.'s warnings to "stick to the play list". "Jessica" was a true rock anthem, that no one even knew about. it just isn't fair, Ya listen to ANY classic rock station anywhere & realize that they all sound the same!

  • Nice to read all positive comments re; BLOODROCK, Truly an excellent band, I remember after BLOODROCK 3, BLOODROCK Passage, what a contrast and also a great album incorporating a little Tull in their sound with some flute pieces.

  • This song was written for Bloodrock by Johnny Nitzinger, who wrote many songs for Bloodrock.

  • This was a great era for music! Being 15 years old this was Rockin music, the keyboards are so cool.... they were kind of obscure, but there was alot of these types of bands as well, another is Bloodwin Pigs etc.....n

  • She'll wag her tail and make everything alright again.

    .

  • covered this way back, people always would ask, "where do we find 'Jessica?' " :)

  • @Bluntfacts

Saw them with GRF in 1970 in Memphis. Awesome music - awesome times !!!

  • I saw BLOODROCK in 1971, I believe, @ BERKLEY THEATRE with CHEECH & CHONG (kind of wierd huh?) and JAMES GANG/JOE WALSH. 3 had just been released. THEY REALLY WERE GOOD. I still listen to 1-3 and LIVE today. I t hink they were ahead of their time. A truly memorable concert!!! INDIANA383
