because so many lines had been cut during proctor signing the confession ruined it. no desperation that proctor feels came through in the performance. the man is been locked up for three months, he is killing himself with guilt and about to be hanged. many of the lines were too quiet taking away the emotion that he feels. also because it is my name needs to be SHOUTED the guy in our play practicaly screemed it and it was really affective because the audience really sympathised, it was really sad

wow iv never seen a black school play, it was good except the white kid john procotr ruined haha he sucked, like really sucked ruined the whole emotional speech

Im sorry, but the crucible is not a comedy, I don't know what they heard, but they have not done this great, oh and you could hardly hear them..

Well was the play eliminated from the contest for going over the time limit. Or for the fact they obviously did not have the rights to perform it because legally you are not aloud to cut down an Arther Miller play.

we took it to a one act play competion so we had to shorten the play to one act in 40 minutes

LOL i played herrick in our Crucible. I coulnt here what you were saying mind you....
we made evryone lol, as we cut out the line "thats just a poor old cow this a hatful of milk"
I purposly pointed at a member of the audiance and said "They arent satan!" evryone loled ;p

It says that they took it to competition, which is timed, so perhaps this is the version they took there?
