Rim Zahra Reads Ghada Samman Poetry at The Sitting Room (From Lebanon to Lebanon)

The event was held, in part, to benefit The Sitting Room's sister organization, THE LIVING ROOM, a daytime shelter for homeless women and children. The event took place at The Sitting Room's Annual Harvest Supper with a program of Arabic poetry read by Rim Zahra, from her recently published translation of Ghada Samman's poetry collection entitled Arab Women
in Love and War: Fleeting Eternities.
