Maybe it's an old story for Pete Droge and/or Gram Parsons/EmmyLou fans, but can anyone tell me why 1) a mid-90's PD song is in a scene in a movie that was otherwise very careful to use period-accurate music, and 2) why the song is sung by what is clearly supposed to be Gram & EmmyLou? It's a great music byte, and a bittersweet scene once you realize that Gram only had another 3-4 months to live from when the movie was set in May-June of 1973. But why not use a real GP-ELH duet?

@freeyourmind94 I play this song with a cap on two and use the chords G C Am and D in the chorus and G D and C in the chorus, the picking pattern is pretty easy to pick up. I dont think those chords are exactly right but it sounds ok.

does anyone know where i can find guitar tabs for this, or even if you know the chords that would be great :)
