Dr. Susan Jick ran such a study involving 1 million women using the Yaz product. She later sent her findings to Bayer for review. She received no response.

Thousands of women are now sueing Bayer over the Yaz contraceptive, even though the company admits no wrong doing and has refused to be interviewed on the matter.
