Here I continue training Blaze, a Tennessee walking horse gelding. In the first session, he wanted to trot. So I worked with him to get him to start doing a stepping pace, which is 4-beat, but not very smooth.

In this session, I continue the work. Blaze remembers a lot and starts out doing a stepping pace. I begin trying to refine it to more of an EVEN 4-beat gait. He does very well!

  • That's a joke you can't set his head with that kind of bit and the horse is not rocking off the crown that's why the horse is choppy.

  • @pawnansell Wow, if you think that, please watch one of my videos of my horses for sale, Ranger or Cinder. Both of those horses are shown gaiting super smooth in a snaffle. Ranger is a Tennessee Walking horse who gaits smoothly after I drop the reins. I really wish you might watch those two videos and think about it. :D
