Let's Play Kid Icarus: Part 1

In honor of Kid Icarus Uprising, I figured I'd do a let's play of Kid Icarus. Now I'll warn you in advance that this is not really supposed to be a funny let's play, and is more intended as a guide to help you get through this game easily. Many people call Kid Icarus a difficult game, and it certainly is for first time players. (I can attest to this) However once you learn what to do, the game becomes an absolute joke. So if you're looking for tips, this is your Let's Play. If you're looking for goofiness and jokes, this probably isn't for you. (Though I will try to make jokes should I think of any)

Oh, and I should note that I wasn't able to fit in the actual ending to this part, so that's why it is cut off at an abrupt point.

How long does an Angel Feather last?

@BaconBlizzard Not very long. It's basically enough time to get yourself to safety, with maybe a few seconds to spare.

@BaconBlizzard Each Angel Feather is only good for one use, so once you use it, it's gone. If you're really worried about falling into the abyss, you might want to have a couple of them. Though once you get good at the game you'll probably never need them, though it's always a good idea to have at least one just in case.

I'm really upset that nintendo didn't put this in the ambassador program. >:c i was really looking forward to playing this game for free (im too cheap to buy it on the wii) and i thought it would be really cool to have both the original Kid Icarus and the new one on the same system. -_______-

@Jscsonic Not to mention when they put the Game Boy Kid Icarus game on the eshop VC, you would have had the entire series on 3DS. XD

New Kid Icarus game coming out soon.... Looks at date of Vid Jun 24 2010, looks at current date Feb 26, 2012... at least the statement still applies :) .

This game is like mario and metroid fused together. think about it jumps like mario shoots like metroid music like metroid and a legacy that should be like marios why did they never make games in the twenty year gap?

I have played this game before. I realized that these enemies spawn again in certain places. I see a set up for heart farming.

@PekoponTAS Exactly what I was thinking! way to go nintendo! more people would probably buy uprising if they put the original on the 3ds. it's kinda like advertising.
