Funboard: The Hybrid (www.naturesshapes.com)

This shape was developed in 1998. Most of the intermediate surfers who ride larger shortboards can never find a board in the rack to fit them. It's either too narrow or too wide or it's just a simple funshape. The hybrid is designed to be the happy medium between a funshape and a shortboard. It has the volume and float of a funshape but the maneuverability of a shortboard. Mostly used as a larger surfers shortboard or a step down board from an egg or longboard shape. This model has a single to double barrel performance bottom contour along with either a round pin, squash or diamond tail shape. This is a very versatile shape that works well in small to large surf. board works great.. got a 7'0 for my wife and she is loving it. went from an 8'0 'blue' fun board down to the 7'0 hybrid and finally able to do some turns. thanks mike
