@UniversalTrinity The fourth ingredient is Stevia. It's a natural sweetener.

are you kidding me ? sodium fluoride is not toxic or harmful to humans
-
...OR, you can use baking soda and 1 single drop of grapefruit seed extract and brush away

Tea tree oil is not used for internal applications due to its toxicity. The American Cancer Society explains that when swallowed it can cause hallucinations, coma, vomiting and blood cell abnormalities. The journal "Clinical Microbiology Reviews" states that cases of tea tree oil poisoning have been reported in both children and adults, though no known human deaths have resulted from ingesting tea tree oil.

@WaGgZzTeRTv Without knowing the exact product you are referring to it is difficult to give advice. Please follow the instructions on the label. It the product is not for internal use do not use it as an ingredient in you tooth powder. The mint extract may not be a pure peppermint essential oil, therefore it may not be a good quality product to use in your formula.

How long does this mixture last when left in the bowl like that will it go bad? Is it supposed to be watery when you are brushing? Isn't 1 tablespoon of arrow starch too much?

@xtcmoo77 The tooth powder should be stored in a cobalt or amber glass container. I prefer to wet my toothbrush so the powder is more like a paste. One tablespoon of arrowroot powder is fine.

@GCNM07 hi i found the mixture a little salty. can i reduce the amount of salt in it.
MegaMisschick 1 year ago
@MegaMisschick Yes, that is fine to adapt the formula to your preferences. Sometimes I omit the salt completely.
