this film has inspired me. i am from a working class family doing a degree. i doubt myself everyday, think what am i doing everyday. but i am trying to sing a better song too

@leedel20 - I agree the mother is wrong... some people think riches will make them happy... but look at all those educated people in the film... none of them are really happy. I say this as someone who mostly everyone in the last generation ended up going to university. persons have more money.... but we are all separate and most admit - not as "happy" as when we were all together. Societies values have changed.

@leeatseaham There was a time I would ask myself, "Why am I doing this?" because it was hard working day and studying night --but I graduated with First Class Honours became a tutor and I have just finished my Masters. ...just keep on going - it's more than worth it.
