  • i bought the book a yr ago and its fck'n awesome!!!!!

  • @Ebuverthebicepcurler Look at joels site and forum if you want to see the difference in approach.I know martin has an academic education in the area but you wouldnt know by the book, its too dumbed down.

  • @billysue2 And how exactly does that work?

  • @SakoYo he presents no overall guidance on how to plan programs,no evidence to back up anything he says, nothing, individual exercises are useless without the programming.People with the education in that area wouldnt be able to construct a plan with just the info he provides. He may be a good coach but the book is shite.

  • @Ebuverthebicepcurler its useless, you cant plan a program without specific testing.Joel jamieson is one of the very few mma conditioning coaches with his game in order.

  • @billysue2 you want a program look at the tfw youtubechannel

  • wats the song of this vid?

  • the whole point is that anyone can show a bunch of exercises, thats easy and doesnt take any expertise. What rooneys book completely lacks is any methodology or programming of training. Its just a picture book.pretty useless.

  • The way I look at it is that you can pick and choose a few exercises from the TFW book and organize your own program based on your specific needs. I doubt that Martin Rooney expected you to cram every single exercise in the book into your routine, which would be impossible.

  • i thought the book was poor, more a collection of exercises without rationale than a detailed analysis of how to program training.Joel jamiesons book is what was needed, not a single photo of an exercise but an evidence based methodology.
