@chroniclerofthe70s Yes, it doesn't sound very productive to me. And I see that type of behaviour with other generations (including mine, Gen X) also. I still don't understand Penelope's infatuation with workers who have just graduated from university.
@krogdog You work very long hours? I worked between 18+ hours 7 days a week for a three months straight in 103 degree weather at minimum wage just to make enouph to go to college. Many of my classmates did the same thing. I put in 10+ hours a day including 4+ hours on Saturday and Sunday in my most recent technical job. Gen Xers i know work from 7:30 A.M to 5:30 P.M. and often work overtime; they consider working 50+ a week as average and consider working 17+ hours a day as very long.
@Zedd459 My experiences with Gen Y is they didn,t put in long hours. They did their work quickly making many mistakes. Additionally, they often left work to go with friends to some social or entertainment event. What is so productive about that?
she is utterly ridiculous. Yet another self-promoting hack who mistakes brazen narcissisism as gifted insight the world needs to know. Following her "advice" is usually a path to failure.
If she truly believes what she says, then she should start her own company and hire nothing but people from generation Y. There should be so little business risk since they are such "great" producers. But then, what product or service would they provide?
She gives some really good advice and some really bad advice. I like her even despite the fact that she is a psycho.

@Zedd459
basically if graduates are gonna have employment gaps because u hate working with them then the future of the workforce and country is kinda screwed.
