A nice idea but guess work really! Istanbul better fits the geographical description of Babylon the Great. Rome is a VERY good fit but lacks a seaport! Istanbul, formerely Constantinople formerely Byzantium also is built on 7 hills, Is the nominal HQ of the Eastern Orthodox Church and DOES have a seaport! Rome may once again move it`s Capital.

Rev 2:12 & 13 state that Satan's seat is in Pergamos or Pergamum. That is in Eastern Turkey, and is very close to Istanbul.

@goldchrist1 You are correct, Pergamum, Turkey, is also a good candidate as the area from which the Antichrist will come.
