Mononykus: Goldrush Shortcuts

This is a video highlighting many Goldrush shortcuts that some may know, and others may not.

While the first jumps are extremely easy, they build into greater ones - the last few are extremely difficult.

FAQ

Q: How do you stick to the windows?
A: Strafe towards the wall, and hold forward, direct yourself around windows with the mouse.

Q: Most of these arent shortcuts.
A: I know, but its easier to lump them all together as shortcuts, and keep it at that, rather than calling the video Goldrush: Shotcuts, Alternate Routes, Trick Jumps, Hiding Spots and Escape Routes and having everyone confused and annoyed by the long title. Please ignore it if it annoys you.

Q: Most of these will get you killed
A: Well, uncloaked, yes, but all of them can be completed in under 10 seconds. Also, if you dont want to use them, dont - I put this up to help and inspire people, Im not trying to dictate how you play :)

Q: Zomg, I found these shortcuts, not u! U stoel them!!
A: I found these jumps myself, and good on you for finding them too - keep being creative!! :)
Extra: Also, many people have told me that addressing people who claim that I have stolen their jumps seems rather self centered. Please dont as I have been confronted by people saying exactly this. This is just to stop any tedious arguments, so if you could please just leave it at that, then that would be great :)

Q: Pink at 4:00?
A: Yeah, I alt-tabbed a little.

Q: Did you know you forgot the shortcut where you can jump from the window on Stage 2 Cap 1, and land on that engi spot?
A: Yeah - the footage disappeared somehow :(

Q: I have a new jump you could add in!
A: Fantastic! Explain it to me, and if I make a revised version of this vid, Ill add it in of course, thanking and acknowledging you.

Q: One of these jumps has been removed
A: Aww, well tell me which one, and if I make a revised version, again, Ill remove the shortcut and thank you for your help.

Q: Wtf at levitating in Stage 2 Cap 1?
A: Yeah, you can actually jump on a bit of rock there. It surprised me too.

Q: Will you get shortcuts from [insert map here]?
A: Well, I'll take a look, but it's unlikely as Valve haven't done many other maps with extended window skills and banisters :( But we'll see.

Q: What vids do you plan for the future?
A: Maybe some Spy tactics, maybe more jumps, maybe a frag, I'm not sure ^_^ I'm thinking Spy tactics, assumin there's something left to say *mumbles about SubtleArt and Orca* (jk, lol) In fact, you should check out their channels, they're great.

I have used quite a few of them in actual games - and some have paid off, others I need to fine-tune a little in terms of execution.

Also, I could totally edit out the more difficult and 'less useful' shortcuts - but would that be a good thing?

Do you think it's bad that I put in more content?

Someone might learn to use these jumps, yes, even the 'useless' ones, and be able to integrate them into their game. That's why I put in all the ones I found.

The great thing about these jumps is that they're now even more useful with the Cloak and Dagger. Loving the video, and hoping to see other Spy shortcuts in future.
