  • I have a couple of speakers from the Twilite Drive-In in Saginaw. No, I didn't steal them, I bought them off ebay. There's a big difference between "stealing" and preserving artifacts. You can either save these items, or they will end up in the dumpster, lost forever.

  • Yes, the owner of the US23 Drive-In in Flint just passed away. Do you know for sure it will not reopen this year?

  • I've been enjoying these videos, and, it was nice that this one was silent. It made you think, kind of like the old radio shows made you visualize images this posting made your brain create a soundtrack. That screen tower was very cool. I wonder what the TWILIGHT and BEL AIR looked like. I've never been to a closed down abandoned drive in, but, watching these videos makes me want to, and maybe I could take home a PG13 sign too. The letter A on the sign was cool. Did you take the U T & O?

  • Looks like this was a beautiful place. It's a shame that the Flint/Saginaw area will be losing another drive-in soon...the US 23. Then National Amusements will probably want to close the Miracle Twin especially since it's their only remaining one in the country. They sadly think drive-ins belong in the past.

  • On another OUTDOOR MOOVIES road trip, I had a letter authoriszng me to be on the TWILIGHT site and 2. I was going to tape the BEL AIR. This one came out of nowhere. What a treat! BEAUTIFUL Screen Tower! Then, I went to the Saginaw area TWILIGHT. When I checked my wallet, my drivers licence wasn't there. Even though I was paranoid, I maded it to the BEL AIR. A No Tresspassing sign kept me away from the snack bar. This is one of my favorites, for sure.

  • Congrats, RQV OM, for posting your second video. The Auto Theater is very cool, especially the marque with one letter left. I'd also like to encourage viewers to visit the michigandriveins ( dot com ) site. It is very detailed and the web master of it, apparently a friend of RQV OM, can be very proud. I enjoy looking at drive ins that are now gone. It's like a time machine. ROGER MOORE FOREVER! ( Connery can't act worth two nicles, but oh...oh...Roger Moore! )

  • I agree. It saddens me that many speakers are melted down for scrap. Taking items from abandoned sites is not stealing, but, the police can still harass. I'm not having much luck posting videos, so, if the spirit moves you?...

  • ...but i wish i had!

  • NO.

  • That would be stealing. Well, Did you?

  • I would have took the sign. Did you grab any speakers?
