  • the best short film i have ever seen. i've sent the link to about 1,000 people in the past year.

my question is are their parasites eating her away like the ants eating the deer? was that supposed to be the correlation? thanks

that's how i interpreted it but i figured i'd ask.

  • It beats out most 2-hour movies of this generation. YAY LUKAS!

  • @VinnyCons vinny you'r ruined all the tragicum god damn it :) i loved this movie it was made with help of Jack Kevorkian the doctor who helped 130 ill people to pass away and end their pain...

  • This made me cry like nothing in a long time, easily the best short film I have ever seen.

    Stunningly effective, WATCH IT.

  • I cried so hard I thought my eyes would burst. I felt like there was a hole in my chest. Thank You for this beautiful video

  • I cried. in other words, it touched me, well done. Well done.

  • Inspireing. I love this short. Id love to meet the filmakers who made it. I hope to see sundance someday too.

  • It's been a while since you posted I'm not sure if this will make it through to you, but I think that the correlation is that it was his first time killing for mercy and not so much the particular disease or affliction that the creature was suffering from. That's what I though anyway. I could be wrong :)

  • Pretty good short film. Borderline melancholic but manages to maintain the right balance.

Definetly poignant and moving, but it doesn't reach the heights of 'Beautiful' or 'Great' in my opinion.

  • have this won in Sundance?

  • There aren't insects in the winter.
