lol to the brake check guy from a year ago, well let's see now that champcar and the IRL merged, the 500 was more exciting than ever, quals, bump day and the amount of fans on a friday morning for carb day, it was awesome this year and all the races have been exciting and attendance has beem extremely high, Tony George, good on ya!
i met robin miller at the 2008 honda grand prix at st petersburg i was wearin a nascar hat then he went in a trailer and got me a ryan hunter reay hat and brought him out to sign it it was the funniest thing ever! and i met grahm rahal and bobby rahal
Both owners of both the series don't get along too well.. Look on the bright side. As soon as ChampCar goes "BYE BYE" then most of those teams will probably migrate over to the ICS and finally we will have a 25car field like in the early 90's. Paul Tracy, Will Power, Legge, Bourdais, and etc.. will most likely go to IndyCar. Though, in terms of "safety" I bet George won't let Paul Tracy in! LOL!
Even if Champ Car folded and the best teams went over to ICS, it won't change the fact that no one will watch or pay to attend the races outside of Indy and (somewhat) Texas, just like today.
