The Clock (2008)

Its a story about a father and a son based on a short story by Slovenian writer Edo Torkar. Its their drama that is of films interest and through the last few hours that they spend together we get to know each other. Father, old as he is, is full of wisdom and wants to tell his son that his time has come to say goodbye. The main object in the movie, the clock, connects them and is of a meaningful importance to father, but what does it mean to son?

Kratki film v tradiciji najboljših klasičnih novel svetovne književnosti. Predmet iz naslova s svojim ugašanjem odšteva zadnje trenutke nekega življenja in s tem prerašča v simbol. A Ura ni zgolj parabola, je tudi ganljiva pripoved o očetu (Valič) in sinu (Čušin), ki na meji med življenjem in smrtjo spoznavata, da sta si najbrž bližje, kot sta kdaj mislila, čeprav zmanjka časa, da bi to izrekla.
