hey man i understand why you dont like the Red Sox, and I'm a Cardinal fan too, but if the Cards respect the Red Sox, I do too. If the Redbirds don't, I dont. Plus, the Tigers dont hate us for beating them so there is no reason to hate the Red Sox.

So much hate :-) Ok, maybe it was like 45 minutes later.
It was so quiet in Shea you could hear Yadi cheering as he ran around the bases. I love the shot of the wanker Mets fan with glasses rubbing his temples as Yadi rounded the bases. Then the bottom of the ninth, bases loaded. Carlos Beltran leaves the bat on his shoulder and the Cardinals advance to the world series!!!
Maybe Beltran thought it was a 9 game series so don't be angry at him :-)

Lol, actually no. Secondly, I take offense--one person says it wrong and then the chant is on. I knew it was wrong as soon as the kid started in but it's impossible to get people to say it right mid-chant. Honestly, it didn't matter to me because I was so stressed out during the game I felt like I was dying.

Haha--glad you like it. That sure brings some painful memories with it. I feel like I can't embrace that moment because it came in such a gut wrenching game. Let's go Mets!

Good pitching, good defense, no hitting...Cardinals dodged a bullet. I wonder how the Cardinals fans felt after that catch it was surreal.
