Hi,

what are your experiences with this Card? Would you advice somoeone else to buy it or choose another card?

go 4 it,..but u will haev 2 buy an audio mixer,.u can also go a mixerless way and can opt for m audio fast track pro,.Ive both of dme and Im extremely satisfied,.lots of semi professionals use it

I Havent recorded records in a while. How do i connect my turntable to the studio mixer not the dj mixer to record my records on Adobe A. 1.5? I cant see the levels below audition THanks.

take d line out of ur turn table 2 d studio mixer line in,,adjust d input volume form ur studio mixer,,.I can tell u more if u can lemme know d mixer model uve,..

hardware settings : codec sample rate gotta be 44.100 and locked at that ... uncheck disable asio in asio option because you want asio in program for less latency ... also in patchbay/router tab dont use monitor mixer, because you can get your beat in the recording so take the 1/2 out ... everything else is fine ;D use 24 bit in programs and when you finish all use 16 bit to export it ... lowing the bit depth will give you smooth clear sound. CD's are using 16 bit 44.100 so you got it ;)

@riteshmallik hey there ive got this card do you know a program i can get for an equalizer that changes my whole pc sound not just one application? Normally sound cards have this on the control panel.

@Az0ngl33 If uve got M audio 2496 dne u dont have 2 spend on fast track pro,.Get a powered mixer(ive tapco mix 60),.and connect it,..Ive fats track pro,.It works fine with xp and vista but it is irritating wid win 7,..I tried d whole day but some kind of kit kit noise is coming,..It works great wid vista,.Win 7 has some issues with dese recording devices,.Tha swhat Ive experienced

i did but they didn't seem to want to work with my windows vista..

well, i just upgraded my computer to windows 7 and i'm just gonna make a studio through an USB audio interface or fast track. i think it's easier too because sound cards are hard to deal with..

hey guys, i have an M Audio 2496 sound card

i bought it because i wanted to set up a home music recording studio.

however, it didn't work on when i just had this sound card, mixer, mic, etc..

what else do i need in order to get it working?

do i need something like a DAT or MIDI device too?

i'm not an expert on setting up these things..i rap, sing, and write songs only.

i have windows 7

i want to record my music ASAP..i've been waiting so long for this.

please help me out here guys!

Like I said VERY LOW audio. I emailed them, I worked all the time trying to fix it FRI-SUN, they got back Monday & were rude bastards. Saying like everybody they are CLOSED ON WEEKENDS. They are arrogant I HAD to UNINSTALL & it sits in my garage to this day. I recently read a review and tho pretty good the guy said it took him TWO days to understand things & that it is unnecessarily COMPLICATED/. From what I see the best now is Asus Xonar Essence STX Sound Card
