Take a look to this great brochure, destinated by the French Line to the American Market.
This book shows the high quality, which the French Line was looking for in the 30ths
Photos taken by Byron, some in color were the highlights of this publication.

  • MrExplorer7,

Thanks for your comment, yes you're right. This liner was 20 years earlier in style and construction. Look at the SS France, and compare this liner with SS Normandie, outside copy paste... ok inside the style changed.

  • Hello Chiswick2,

Indeed, you're right, also my favorite

I will post in the next weeks some other movies on my channel

  • Great video!! Where did you find those pictures of the normandie

  • Hi,

the whole video was produced from the "Green Book", take a look to my comment for the video.

Usually I use only photos, or material from original ocean liner collectibles, or publication of the era.

  • This is a great video, full of atmosphere and concentrating on the elegance, style and art of the interiors, particularly the work of Champigneulle and Dupas.

    Well done to you.

  • Psari, thanks for your kind comment. this is a great pleasure, because I think that your videos cannot be topped anymore....

  • Normandie would fit in perfectly with any modern ocean liner of today

  • The Normandie is BY FAR the most beautiful ship ever built, she has no rivals.

  • Every room of Normandie was absolutely breathtaking. I wish she was still with us. But at least she is with me.

  • Great video, Great photos of the normandie and the music really sets the scene
