Bernerd Harding, 90, of Milford, N.H., took a flight in a B-24 bomber on Sept. 25, 2009 through the Wings of Freedom tour. It was the first time he had flown in a bomber since being shot down over Germany in 1944.

  • Thank you Mr. Harding...you survived and no doubt shared a wonderful life with your family in the past 60 years+. Godspeed. A NH lover in Florida! xo

  • It was very nice of the Collings Foundation to offer this veteran a free flight from Gilford to Manchester. I got to see the Liberator on final approach to Manchester as it flew over Goffstown. Thank you for your service Mr. Harding.
