I will stick with my honda Rubicon...simply better machines

@oscar17211 fail.. all polaris utility atvs have true 4wd
-
@Erhorn300 no, polaris never made a full time 4wd.

@WhiteTiger91 its in 2 wheel drive when the switch is on 4x4 until the rear tires loose traction just 1/8 of a tire rotation then the front wheel kick in. so you can drive around normally in 4x4 and it will feel like 2x4 untill the rear slips. if u pin it it normally allways engadges cuz the rear slips just a little
-
can you switch from low to high while your riding?
-
the older ones are
-
nope, they have AWD. Press the AWD switch to the ON position, and the front wheels will kick in when the back tires slip. Otherwise, keep the AWD switch on off, and its just 2WD
Its an 02 they are both great machines. But the EFI is electronically fuel injected, more effiecient, more power. Mine is not EFI FYI.

Since its a CVT tranmission you can not lock it up so Hp and Tq ratings are not accurate, but we got about 22 hp and 25 Tq. I know at the crank it makes 38hp.

@02passatw8 what do you mean by at the crank?
mcskatin 1 year ago
@mcskatin meaning right out of the engine. There is a power loss at the wheels like any motorized vehicle. And no you must come to a stop before shifting between the two.
