I'm no expert on wado ryu and it looked good. My only criticism is the rising block as that part of the arm is to weak to take a hard strike. I would carry on with the move turning it into an arm lock maybe.

@AcornsAndAntlers That doesn't change the fact, the word nidan means second level, even though you learn it first in Wado-ryu. You wrote [pinan shodan/ peaceful 2nd level], whereas this would translate as peaceful lowest (first) level. Only pinan nidan (ni meaning 2 in japanese) is [peaceful 2nd level].

@Schnittertm1 Thats more or less exactly what i said
Pinan [peacefull] ****** [level]
-
@AcornsAndAntlers Well, actually, the japanese word shodan does mean first or lowest level, therefore that would actually be the first kata to learn. Nidan is the second level, as ni means two in japanese, just as san in sandan means three, yon in yondan means four and go in godan means five.
Still, in Wado-ryu you usually learn the second kata (nidan) before the first kata (shodan), as, from what I've was told, nidan is easier to learn than shodan and therefore it was changed for Wado-ryu.

Do you practice Wado-ryu?
Eitherway, could you please expand on why you think this is bad.
Even better could you post a video of yourself performing the kata - so we can all learn from it?
Thank you for your comment

Hello - It is pinan Nidan. Shotokan call this Heian Shodan because Funakoshi Gichin swapped the names arround.

@ Garywado, I can't seem to find the first kata (Can't spell this..) Tokyoko anywhere! I'm going to a championship soon, and I'm doing all the kata's up to blue belt, but I have to teach a younger student (CMA Chuldow Martial Arts) at Chuldow how to do the first kata. Can you tell me where to find one?

@LucyKickzAss
I think you are talking about Taikyoku Shodan, Nidan etc....
This seems to be practiced more by Shotokan groups - so a quick google search will bring up plenty of the Shoto version. As far as Wado version -I know Shiomitsu sensei teaches a very similar kata.
