Facts about Imagine Wesley International Academy's
Innovative Curriculum

Imagine Wesley International Academy is a tuition-free, public charter
school serving students kindergarten through seventh grade in a single
gender setting. Nestled between Grant Park and Ormewood Park in
Southeast Atlanta, Imagine Wesley is a community of life long learners
which strives to create a nurturing educational environment. The
faculty is committed to developing the whole child by providing a
rigorous and relevant curriculum that activates and utilizes each
student's multiple intelligences and learning styles. Our School mission
statement is "To educate internationally minded students capable of
leading and functioning in a global environment." To fulfill this mission
Imagine Wesley is seeking authorization to implement the rigorous and
world-renown International Baccalaureate Primary and Middle Years
Programmes (IB PYP and MYP programs) and provides daily lessons in
Chinese Mandarin to all students, in all grades.

Imagine Wesley will open the 2008-2009 school year with two new
classroom buildings, offering 50,000 square feet of instructional
space in 34 high-tech classrooms withcomputers in each room. The
students will enjoy state-of-the-art science and technology
laboratories, complete art and music studios, and a comprehensive
media center and library. Imagine Wesley's campus is purpose-built
to deliver the extra-ordinary International Baccalaureate PYP and
MYP curricula.
