@City4 Jane Hanson is now back co-anchoring at 5! It's a completely different show that's essentially fashion fluff, but at least she's there.

@mikewpu04 Sadly, they only used this open for a VERY short period of time, like maybe a month, while the main studio was being renovated. That it still sticks with so many of us says something.
Oh well, WNBC today is a basket case of a news operation. Even if they did come up with an open as good as this, none of us would want to stick around for the actual program.

wow, the intro sounds like that of a talk show! not a news segment! horrible intro! At least for a news segment anyway!
