When you said fabulous, i pictured the man typing your comment to be wearing rainbow-boxers, and nothing else.

I'm sorry, but this song is super cheese and dated. Tone and technical abilities aside, "boo".
It's got the same vibe as the garbage I used to listen to in the late 80s.
I haven't read all the posts, but those of you knocking slash need to stop. He's written some of the best and most memorable riffs I've ever heard.

and slash fans get 2 hear this great music

glad slash is in this cause this song sounds amazing

Look, Slash isn't by far among the most skilled guitarplayers in the world, but this album isn't about that. It's about the love of guitar. The second you say Slash doesn't belong on a record that's about loving to play an instrument is when I think all your arguements are invalid. I'm not such a fond of what he played on this song, because basically it's not his type of song. Still, he is entitled to a chance to play on this album. Disagree all you like, but he loves the guitar...

leave it to a bunch of immature guitar players to argue with idiots for no reason.....

@33COOLMAN33 not a song.hehe
@jrny66 It's true Neal Schon CAN be melodic if he wants to, but he's so multidimensional, and that's what makes him so special and is revered by so many elite guitarists in the world. He's just FABULOUS!!! And yes, Slash totally doesn't belong here. Even his 'hat trick' isn't working. lol.

Slash's guitar sounds like some mechanical noise, compared to Schon and Lukather's, with Schon's being the most voice-like.
