Koolandy. Much agreed. While I don't doubt that these musicians have real chops, there's no denying that you can produce an amazing song with simple chord progression.

Is it just me or does this remind anyone else of Pyramid Song by Radiohead? Fantastic song, and interesting video.

YES YES YES! I had that same thought when I first heard it. It's not so similar that it's a rip-off, but it is definitely reminiscent of Radiohead.

Yeah, sorry about the decompress/recompress static on the video. But then, it's not the video I'm promoting. It's the amazing song.
