I raced my friend's V8 S4 (he didn't own it; it was one of his cars from his wholesale lot) with my stock 07 STI; we were even up until 110MPH; by 140 I could barely see him in my rear view mirror; its funny too cause right before the race he said "Hey! no competition HAHAHAHA!" But afterward, he couldn't talk cause his lip was sore from biting too hard.

At the end of the day a WRX is still just a subaru impreza.... I'd rather have the luxury and refinement of the audi anyday... Plus, you don't look like a punk kid like all the wrx drivers do..... I'm sorry, but all that cladding and huge spoilers look ridiculous...

if i have the chance to buy a s4, i would just go for the WRX. A project car is so much more fun to drive with and not to mention the huge aftermarket supports.

i want it to be clear so everyone knows.... that was a 4 cylinder turbo car keeping up with a big bad v8.... i love it

@fferguson1992 Its the horsepower plus weight of the car; the engine size don;t matter in my case because its forced induction or turbo ready as they call it; in other words its a Boxer 4 Turbo 15PSI factory means its equal to a Naturally apsirated V-8. My STI is 335HP with intake and pipes; no ECU tune yet; its a 2.5 turbo my car weighs 3100lbs. The S4 was 340HP Natural V-8 his car weight 3600lbs; the weight difference won the race

i thought that cars with bigger engines eg. V8 outperform cars with smaller engines eg. V4 when its higher MPH.
