@FinalEpoch1 There is video evidence of a combat vest stopping an SVD shot to the chest. It is more believable that an SVD shot to the chest is not fatal in BF3 than a foot shot with an Intervention is a kill. Also, BF3 is more about balance and realism in that each soldier type fulfills a role SIMILAR to real like. CoD is about reflex and twitching. It's different play styles. However, in terms of realism, I think it would be hard to argue that CoD has a more realistic take on sniping.

If you want one shot kills no matter where you happen to hit them, play on hardcore mode. Switch to it in the server browser. You have way less health but if you're good you can easily get plenty of sniping kills.

I understand why you would think a sniper shot from 10 feet away would kil which it would. But most sniper rounds don't hit terminal velocity untill about 100+ yards.

i dont have a problem with the hit markers, it just means that you need to learn to go for headshots, which in turn means that you shit yourself that much more when you do get like a three hundred yard headshot. its good and stops retards from thinking that they are really good at sniping.

just thought you might want to know that was playing with a mate of mine on saturday (ZIGGY ROGUE) and he got a 1400 meter headshot on operation firestorm. i was happy with a 734 tho :D

@Prove2205 its still possible if u cant do it u're shit, and BF3 is going more for BF2 style than bfbc2 style and in BF2 if u didnt have the m95, u have to hit a headshot.

the sniping system changed a lot from other battlefield series.. 4 example im a bc2 and a bf3 player, on bc2 quickscoping was pretty easy u just had to shoot from the stomach and above 4 one shot one kill, dice probably didnt like the quickscoping so on bf3 u need to fire on the neck or the area around the head .... i dont understand y they fucked up quickscoping ..... i loved quickscoping but this fags on dice destoyed it...
