  • 17 is down for a 1472, and I believe the Heisler is still getting new tires, number 70 is still not ready, and I am not sure about the Climax. So basically #2 was the only engine good to go, and that's awesome. This gives the Willamette a good chance to display her beauty.

  • @Chris9017 The climax is operational and was ready to fill in that day in case the # 2 had an y problems.

  • @Trainman11185 It's not any common made whistle. Looks custom or factory made from Willamette.

  • @Chris9017 it sounds like a Buckeye 3 chime, but I'm not sure

  • Great!!!

  • Wow! that's some really great footage Andrew.

  • I love the whistle on the 2. It sounds very sweet, very melodic, and very unique. What company made that 3-chime?

  • Oh okay, that's good to hear. I hope they get the Heisler back up, that way they have an all geared fleet until 70 enters steam.

  • Great video!
