Platte's clove is actually one of the many swimming holes along that mountain stream. it is the last swimming hole towards the end of the trail. Womderful place, very hard to get to nowadays because the local residents posted private no trespassing signs. The stream and area are still government owned so disreard what the local residents say. they don't want you there. Go by foot because it is very difficult to park anywhere alongside the road. Good Luck.
