Very nice of you to go on camera to do this, and show us how, but I have 2 critiques: 1) When filling any type of syring with insulin, it is ALWAYS >AIR TO AIR<; you do NOT push air through the insulin; and
2) I would have liked to have seen, and what I was looking for, was a better description of removing the needle cover. I do not know what kind of 'bottle cap' one can remove by just pulling it with your thumb and forefinger.
Take good care and happy pumping!

@belskater94 I know this reply is a bit late, but the omnipod is scheduled for release in Canada at the end of this month(august)...... it's a different story to know if your insurance will cover it... :P mine sad It will only cover the medtronic paradigm..

It looks like you're putting it on your ribs. If I put it there I'd probably pierce something because I can see my ribs. haha

only if the god damn British NHS would do something like this. I mean i would pay the cost of the pod if the NHS would fund the insulin, but the likelihood of this in zilch! I watched a news report about a girl of around 5 years of age, in the UK, who has had type 1 diabetes for around 1-2 years. She got a tube pump, a pump non the less, as it was a postcode (zipcode) style draw. My point is, im 18 and have had type 1 since i was 17 months old and have no idea how that is fair at all :/

Great job. Thanks a lot. My son was recently diagnosed at 3 years old. We think this will be great for him. Thx
You are the most ignorant person that ever lived. Do some research on Diabetes before you leave ridiculous comments like this one

You are so uneducated and ignorant. Learn something about type 1 iabetes before you speak! Type 1 diabetes is an auto-immune disease and has nothing to do with something you ate or did. Do your research before sounding like a complete idiot.
