That is a great car. I have a 97 Olds 88; I like it a lot but I have already had to replace 2 engines in it since may of last year. It turns out the intake doesn't like heat since it is plastic so it compromised the gasket and filled the crank with antifreeze. Be very careful about overheating. I'm not sure what the supercharged engine has but I would recommend checking for intake gasket leaks often.

Yes I am sure. According to Google, it is the Eaton m90 roots Gen3 supercharger. This supercharger can be found on GM 3800 series II engine (Code L67, same engine as in this olds) .Year model 1997-2004. The 5th generation was used in series III 3800 engines from 2004-2007
Your confusing it with the 3800 Series 1 supercharged engine from 1991-1995, (the same L67 code), but used the M62 eaton supercharged.
