  • wow you missed the entire point of the conversation. You also missed the entire point of his speech. Obama said that Wright's sermon was wrong. He strongly rejected them, over and over agian.

  • I'm concerned that the only point you got from this thirty minute speech was the one about his grandmother.

From Obama’s speech in San Francisco:

"You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them," he said.

"And it's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations,"

I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, Dubois and Mandela.'

  • Arab? Tell me something, could you point to the part of a world map from which Arabs come? I'm guessing not... based on your identifying a Hawaiian as an Arab.
