@furyfantoo im with you on that one...and i know that 2002 was bad for tannys going out as well. i had an 02 chevy truck along with 3 of buddy and we all had to put tranny in them all befor 100000 mile the guy at the gm dealer said it was flaw in on of the bands in the trannys that cause it and he said that he has put many trannys in chevy do to this...dont get me wrong i am a ford guy but there nothing wrong with a chevy or dodge for that matter..i have had better luck with ford then gm ordodge

@furyfantoo I used to work for a very large GM dealership and the amount of unresolved complaints against their products were mind boggling. One thing I've come to realize is that there's an ass for every seat, there will always be those faithful souls who will choose the inferior product based on brand loyalty, name recognition and end of year bargain pricing. Besides that, Mexico and China needs the work.

@5418central Auto manufacturers always get lawsuits against them - have you heard of the GM Dexcool/intake manifold gasket fiasco?  GM (your hero, apparently) built *millions* of engines with a pretty hefty flaw for about 8 years straight. Government Motors may have paid the money back early (if you really believe that) -- but Ford didn't need a bailout in the first place.
