I just dicked around with it for 5 mins and got it off no problem. It's not that hard :p

This video is really horrible. Deere could take the extra time to make a complete, video instruction to remove the deck. The manual is tough to understand and there is nothing like seeing it to really understand it. I plan on using my digital camera to take pictures of the complete deck and all the attachments to ensure I have a photo record before I remove anything.

I agree with tpowell1966, Someone else took my deck off, and so I did not have the option to see it prior to removal. A BETTER way in the video would have been to take an extra 5 seconds to show the linkages . . . This video did not help me at all, for which I am sorry.

You don't show the linkages and how to disconnect and reconnect them, you instead send people to the operators manual. If I don't have the operators manual this video doesn't tell me what I need to know about removing and reattaching the deck.

Let me assist you...if you look under your mower you'll see the linkages that are holding the deck up. Now just follow the video and you have no problems with removing the deck.
